If I could some up this book into one word it would have to be the word Control: handling any issue or confrontation that comes your way.

1. Overthinking Instead Of Moving Forward

Our time is the most precious resource we all own, but if you spend too much time thinking of what we need to accomplish. Action is the only way we are able to move forward, constantly thinking about instead of crafting a plan isn’t productive.

If we aren’t producing results then we are really doing nothing, it’s okay to visualize the end result of your long term goal. Small goals stack up and help us get closer to where we want to be, we can work towards our goals every day.

2. Prioritizing What’s Most Important

Prioritization is the key to productivity, without it we end up with past due tasks that weren’t completed at all. And next thing you know the day is gone, and you still haven’t checked anything off of your to-do list.

Thinking that if you complete small tasks instead of a task that has a deadline is just not progress its just a distraction. This is just a productivity trap, you are working yes but in the wrong direction, your energy should go to what has a deadline.

3. Putting Yourself First

In order to improve your productivity, we have to take time to make sure we are taking care of ourselves inside and out. It’s important that we take the time to exercise, spend time with those we care about and relax from our busy schedules.

This is key how can you improve your productivity if you struggling with depression, anxiety, or a lost loved one. We have to first improve in these areas before we try to revamp our productivity habits in our lives.
