Get More Done With Time Batching

Block off time in your day to allow you to get more done in your day using time blocking. Time-blocking is essentially organizing your day in a series of time slots.

I will be discussing:

1. Increase Productivity With Fewer Distractions 2. Share Your Schedule With Others 3. Structure & Schedule Your Day

If I could some up this book into one word it would have to be the word Control: handling any issue or confrontation that comes your way.

1. Increase Productivity With Fewer Distractions

Grouping similar tasks or projects into a set window of time like an hour maybe the time you need to empty out your email inbox and voicemail. And since you completed the task you won’t have come back to for the rest of the day you can simply move onto the next task.

This allows us to create a schedule and routine for our productivity, it allows us to complete projects on time and gives more time to pick up a new hobby. Time blocking and blocking give us peace of mind, and can even give us a chance to get ahead in our work.

2. Share Your Schedule With Others

In order for us to increase our productivity, we should share our schedules with others around us know our windows of productivity so that they won’t add interruptions or distractions to our day. Don’t just put your phone on Silent/Do Not Disturb mode or wear headphones we have to actually communicate to create real boundaries.

Multi-tasking is truly an illusion, when we allow ourselves to focus on one task at a time were able to complete our tasks faster to move on to the next. Blocking off certain times in our day or even specific days to focus on tasks can allow for us to find more free time in our lives.

3. Putting Yourself First

In order to improve your productivity, we have to take time to make sure we are taking care of ourselves inside and out. It’s important that we take the time to exercise, spend time with those we care about and relax from our busy schedules.

This is key how can you improve your productivity if you struggling with depression, anxiety, or a lost loved one. We have to first improve in these areas before we try to revamp our productivity habits in our lives.
