Make It Happen, Not Excuses

Blaming others may seem like a solution but when we take control of your life and making it happen we transform into a better person.

I will be discussing:

1. Shut Up & Take Responsibility

2. Infinite Opportunities

3. Stop The Blame Game

If I could some up this book into one word it would have to be the word Love: a great interest and pleasure in something.

1. Shut Up & Take Responsibility

Whenever you find yourself going on a rampage of the blame game this is when you need to pause and reflect on what your responsibility is in the situation. Even if you decide to continue to go down the blame game rabbit hole, in the end, no one wins, it’s hard to accept but it allows us to grow as a person.

By blaming others we are only pushing back our progress of actually changing our lives for the better. Blame puts you in a position where you feel defenseless as if you have no control over your own life, by taking responsibility you start to think of ways to improve the situation.

2. Infinite Opportunities

When we are in a great place and taking accountability, this is when opportunities that are bigger you could ever imagine start to come your way. It’s as if you are being rewarded for taking action and working to change your life, we just have to shift our mindset.

When we have a without a scarcity mindset instead of a positive mind we start to believe that no opportunities will come our way or that it’s our last opportunity ever. Once this is changed you will start to feel like you have to tell everyone around you about how you transformed your life.

3.Stop The Blame Game

Sometimes we have to stop blaming others around us like our partner, parents, economy and the president for what has happened to you. When we blame others for our issues we are putting ourselves in victim mode and stops us from taking control of our lives.

When we accept and take ownership of what has happened and commit to changing our lives we become victorious instead of staying a victim. This can be done by simply asking ourselves “What is my role in this” & “How can I stop feeling like this?”.
