Happy Black History Month! This week I decided to read "Becoming" by Michelle Obama because it is Black History Month and I’ve always looked up to her in my eyes she has reached the highest level of black girl magic. This book was on my 9 Books Worth Your Time Reading List, and it did not disappoint me in the slightest. I was able to learn a lot from this book because I can feel like I am gonna go through a very large transition in my life as she did with leaving the White House. Even though my transition isn't that major I still know that graduating college is going to majorly impact me. I will be discussing Forever My FLOTUS, Black Love Goals, What Comes After It’s Over. Happy Black History Month! & Library Lovers Month & Week! I decided to read "The Wait" by Devon Franklin & Meagan Good because I was just on the fence about reading it but the book truly surprised me. As I began reading it, I definitely felt like I was being called out for everything I had done wrong in my past relationships. But something inside me said I should keep reading, there is obviously a reason why this book was on the New York Times Best Sellers List. Happy Black History Month! I decided to read "Minority Leader" by Stacey Abrams because she isn't the average politician. And I knew this just by looking at her she has a gap tooth, unmarried, full figured and wears her natural hair proudly. I will be discussing Born For Greatness, The Other Side Of Stacey Abrams, Surrounded By Greatness. Happy Black History Month! This week I decided to read "Rise & Grind" by Daymond John he’s always been my favorite shark on shark tank. Plus he’s also the only shark that wasn’t white like the others when it first aired, and just that small bit of diversity simply amazed me. Entrepreneurship is hard and it is even harder as a minority but seeing him in one the investor chairs made that hard to reach goal seem like a reality.
