Happy 2019! My first blog of the new year! This week I decided to read "Getting Things Done" by David Allen as the year is coming to a close I felt like this perfect to read. It was great reminder since this new year is coming, and this book is bursting with positive energy and good vibes that I would love to bring with me into the new year. Because this will be the year I finally graduate with my Bachelor's degree in Marketing with a minor in Communications, its just been such a long journey. And I know this new year will be filled with new adventures whether it's regarding my life, career and especially this very blog. I will be discussing Multitasking Is A Bad Idea, Is Stress-Free Productivity Possible, Five Simple Steps That Apply Order To Chaos.
As each year passes we welcome new ways of improving our lives and a great way to achieve the goals we set for ourselves. Is through organizing our day with a brand new planner for 2019, but not just one with a spot to write down deadlines but one to simplify our lives and motivate us. So I hope this list will help to guide you on your search for the perfect planner and help you "Rise To Be Who You Want To Be" in 2019.
This week I decided to read "Crush It" by Gary Vaynerchuk as the year is coming to a close I felt like this perfect to read. I will be discussing Always Do The Right Thing, Know Yourself, Know Your Worth & Add Tax, Be Careful With Vanity Metrics, Take Advantage Of Your 24 Hours, Don't Let Money Guide You, Getting Rest Is Important, Everyone Won't Care Like You Do, Never Let Your Problems Follow You, Don't Complain About What Others Would Dream About.
This week I decided to read "How To Stop Worrying And Start Living" by Dale Carnegie as we go through the year our optimism may dim as the month's pass. The worry of not knowing if our efforts will ever get us to where we want to be and making our vision boards into a reality. Which is why I felt that this book is so important to read because all thought the month is coming to an end it does not mean that our New Year's Resolutions have to fade away. Goals & dreams take time which why we should rush them and worry anyone else's success but our own. I will be discussing Stress The Silent Killer, Get Rid Of 50% Of What Causes Unnecessary Worries, Try To Shrink Your Financial Worries, Fatigue Free & Forever Young, Start By Waking Up One Hour Earlier, Nervously Nervous.
Each year we are filled so much positivity and so many of us turn to books for guidance to make our year great. So here's a list of books that are actually worth your time reading. If you have a book suggestion please let me know in the comments section. Keep 'Rising to Be' who you want to be.
This week I decided to read "The 10X Rule" by Grant Cardone in honor of the 10X Growth Conference this weekend I decided to re-read this book that inspired it all. Although I am unable to go to the conference this year see amazing speakers like Steve Harvey, Daymond John, Sara Blakely, and Ryan Deiss, this book is still impacting my everyday life today. I know for a fact that I will go to this conference in the future, and not during my last semester of college. I believe tickets are still on sale for this amazing event happening on February 1st-3rd, 2019. I will be discussing Don't Let Drugs Drag You Down, Never Let Your Motivation Fade During Adversity, Throw Away The Excuses, Never Let Someone Out Work You, Stop Spending & Start Investing.
